What Ease My Mind is
Ease My Mind (the app) supports relaxation and winding down. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. It is not a medical device and it does not replace care from a doctor or therapist.
Not an emergency service
The app is not an emergency service. If you are in danger or may hurt yourself, call your local emergency number or a crisis line now. The app shows local help when a check-in suggests a crisis, but it can miss things.
AI
Suggestions may come from an AI. It only chooses from the app's library of practices and gives no advice outside it. It can be wrong. You decide what to do, and you can stop any practice at any time. Each practice lists cautions; read them first.
Using Ease My Mind
The app is for people aged 16 and over, for personal use. Please don't misuse the service, try to get around its limits or load it with automated requests, and don't copy the library or the app.
Subscription
The app offers a 7-day free trial, then a subscription. [TO DECIDE: the plan structure (monthly, yearly or both) and the final prices (target about 5 and 40 euros, Q-031).] Purchases go through Apple. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel, as described by Apple at purchase. You cancel and manage it in your Apple account, and refunds follow Apple's rules, as described by Apple at purchase. Apple's standard terms: [PLACEHOLDER: link to Apple's standard Licensed Application EULA]. [TO DECIDE: whether Apple's standard EULA or our own terms apply.] Help in a crisis stays free.
Liability
We take care in building the app, but we offer it as it is and don't promise it will always work or suit you. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited. [TO DECIDE: wording for a lawyer; mandatory consumer rules apply.]
Changes
We may change these terms or the app. The version and date above show the current text. [TO DECIDE: governing law and how changes are announced.]
